Bernice Aikins has developed prospects into clients

On a beautiful late summer afternoon, fifteen years ago, two young women graduated from the same university. These two young women are very much alike as students both had very good grades; both had a pleasant personality and were well-mannered. As it is with young university graduates both were filled with ambitious dreams and both looked forward to a bright future.

Not too long ago, these two women returned to the university where they graduated from for their 15th reunion. They were still very much alike both were happily married. Both had four children. And both as it is, had set up their own businesses.

But there was a difference. One of the young women had few client the other was well patronized.

Conduct presentation to perspective clients to communicate the company’s services. Maintaining records of sales. Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through networking, with focus on importers and exporters. Regularly visiting existing clients to ensure continuous validation of the company’s services.  Keep consistent follow up and checks on all sent quotations to confirm businesses. Participate in trade exhibitions and events to build new contacts. Keeping consistent follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional Manner. Working closely with operations to support customer satisfactions. Maintaining an accurate profile of customers to ensure future reference.

In all of which there is no down time and off which there has been a steady flow of clients. To say that Bernice Aikins deserve a standing ovation is an understatement!

Some of her achievements include participating and representing Portside in a networking conference in Germany in October 2021. This facilitated in building networks with about 30 companies around the world with confirmed businesses.

United Nations/Scan Global. Bernice Aikins worked together with Portside’s MD,  Mr. Bas De Vaal and got nomination to handle vessels and delivery of military equipment to The Ghana Army. Aside’s from this, Bernice Aikins has developed prospects into clients and worked consistently to maintain effective relationships with them.
